ARRIVAL
Gymnasts should arrive in good time along with an adult for their class at the designated ENTRANCE FOYER to register at the front desk only once this is fulfilled your child can enter the sports hall.
All children should arrive ready to participate and not have to change clothing.
No Adults are permitted to watch either in the gallery or in the sports hall unless permission is given by the Head Coach only.
An adult must be present on arrival and for registration at the sports hall foyer.
Should your child have any illness, or injuries should be reported to the coaches or the front desk upon arrival.
No entrance into the sports hall unless a member of staff is present.
Unsupervised use of the equipment or abuse of the equipment is not permitted.
All children must participate in the warm-up which is an essential preparation for the full class failure to do so could result in them not being allowed to participate in their class for their own well- being and safety.
SAFETY
If your child does not wear the appropriate attire your child may not be able to participate within the class.
Hair to be tied back neatly before entering the class.
Hoodies are not permitted to be worn during the class jeans, trousers, tight shorts, footed tights, crop tops, ONLY grip socks, jewellery (except for religious reasons but must tape up before participation).
Please ensure your child only brings essential possessions to Diamonte (such as water, lunch or a snack for break and any medical needs, i.e. EpiPen), and to keep those possessions close to them wherever practicable. Where possible, please DO NOT bring mobile phones to Diamonte.
If an accident or incident has occurred during the session you will be asked to complete and sign an Accident Form or Incident Form.
CODE OF BEHAVIOUR
Coaches, staff, and other gymnasts, should be treated with respect. and rudeness, insulting, or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated from anyone.
ESCALATION PROCESS
In the first instance please raise any concerns with Natalie Davies the Head Coach and upon discussion may be put forward to the Academy Welfare Officer if deemed appropriate.
Gymnasts are expected to behave in a civilized manner, be polite and courteous, no foul language, not to disrupt the class, bullying will not be tolerated under any circumstances and could involve either you child being allowed to continue to participate in the class if this occurs a discussion with the Head Coach will be necessary.
DISMISSAL
Your child can only be picked up by an adult in the designated sign posted from the side door of the sports hall that will be sign posted.
If someone other the designated parent/guardian is collecting the child notification will be required at the front desk on arrival or via an email.
To enable your child to walk home alone you must fill in the relevant form. Without this your child will under no circumstances be permitted to walk home by themselves.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP FEE £55.00
Includes Diamonte General club leotard for girls, boys shorts , admin and Gymnasts Insurance.
Your child will not be able to participate in a class until the membership fee along with their class fees have been received.
There will be no refunds for any missed classes under any circumstances.
